Molly Robillard was hilarious, well-rounded, and kind and left us too soon. To celebrate her life and remember the many lessons she taught us about joy, wonder, and bravery, we need your help. “The Thousand Unicorns” is a Molly-esque twist on “Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes” dreamed up by her best friend, Skye. Please help by creating unicorns and post to #Unicorns4Molly. You’ll help us celebrate Molly’s life, and others we lost too soon. They filled the world with magic and rainbows and left their stories with us.

To say goodbye to her at her celebration on November 7th, Molly’s friends are trying to make a poster with 1000 handmade unicorns on it. If you knew Molly or wish that you knew her, please draw, paint, build or create a unicorn and share it with us (photos are fine). Please draw as many unicorns as you can and post them on Instagram or Twitter withthe hashtag #Unicorns4Molly to honour Molly.
For some of us, this is about celebrating Molly’s unique life and her sense of humour, joy, wonder and bravery. It is helping us to do something fun and creative despite our sadness. Molly did so much for others battling cancer including raising over $92 000 for cancer research with her CN Cycle team, Team Robillard. http://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/molly-robillard-2002-2014-team-molly-raised-thousands-for-cheo-cancer-care.
Perhaps you have lost someone too and are looking for a way to focus on the sunshine that filled the lives of our dear friends. Let’s celebrate Molly’s life and the lives of others lost too soon by drawing rainbow filled unicorns and remembering the beautiful and hilarious magic that filled their lives.
